Question 1

What is the Mfr

Accepted Answer

Mfr refers to the component's producing company, whose brand and manufacturing processes directly impact the component's performance, consistency, and traceability, making it a key reference during selection.

Question 2

What is the Series

Accepted Answer

Series indicates a manufacturer’s organized range of components, often named with a common prefix or code, to streamline product selection and ensure compatibility across similar models.

Question 3

What is the Package

Accepted Answer

his term denotes the protective casing (often made of plastic, ceramic, or metal) that encapsulates an integrated circuit, determining its size, reliability, and suitability for different mounting technologies like through-hole or SMT.

Question 4

What is the Base Product Number

Accepted Answer

By using the Base Product Number, manufacturers and customers can efficiently communicate about component families without detailing every specification, streamlining the procurement process.

Question 5

What is the Supplier Device Package

Accepted Answer

Supplier Device Package refers to the specific nomenclature or code used by a component manufacturer or distributor (supplier) to designate the physical outline and pin arrangement of an electronic component they produce or sell.

Question 6

What is the Package / Case

Accepted Answer

Package / Case refers to the protective housing that encases an electronic component, providing mechanical support, electrical connections, and thermal management.

Question 7

What is the Voltage - Supply, Single (V+)

Accepted Answer

The nominal positive DC voltage rail required to power a single-supply operational amplifier, comparator, or other analog/digital IC. It defines the upper bound of the common-mode input range and the maximum output swing, establishing the circuit's operat

Question 8

What is the Voltage - Supply, Dual (V±)

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the symmetrical positive and negative DC voltage rails required to power operational amplifiers, analog-to-digital converters, and other analog circuitry. It defines the upper and lower bounds of the power envelope, enabling the c

Question 9

What is the Switch Circuit

Accepted Answer

A switch circuit is an electronic configuration that uses a semiconductor or electromechanical device to control the flow of current by opening or closing a conductive path. Its core function is to enable or disable a signal or power rail within a system.

Question 10

What is the Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Circuit

Accepted Answer

A circuit that routes one of several input signals to a single output line (multiplexing) or directs a single input to one of several outputs (demultiplexing), based on control line logic states. Its core function is efficient resource sharing for data tr

Question 11

What is the Product Status

Accepted Answer

Product Status indicates the commercial availability and production stage of the component, such as Active, Not for New Design (NRND), Obsolete, or Last Time Buy (LTB).

Question 12

What is the Number of Channels

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the total count of independent, parallel signal paths or data streams that a component (e.g., an amplifier, ADC, DAC, multiplexer, or communication IC) can process or handle simultaneously. It is a fundamental capacity metric that

Question 13

What is the Operating Temperature

Accepted Answer

The operating temperature is the range of ambient temperature within which a power supply, or any other electrical equipment, operate in. This ranges from a minimum operating temperature, to a peak or maximum operating temperature, outside which, the powe

Question 14

What is the Applications

Accepted Answer

This parameter describes the specific electronic systems, circuits, or end-use products for which a component is designed and validated. It guides engineers in selecting parts that are functionally appropriate, meet environmental and regulatory requiremen

Question 15

What is the On-State Resistance (Max)

Accepted Answer

It specifies the maximum DC resistance between the drain and source terminals of a power MOSFET when it is fully enhanced by its gate voltage, measured in milliohms (mΩ). This parameter is critical for calculating conduction losses (P_loss = I² * Rds(on))

Question 16

What is the Features

Accepted Answer

These are the additional, non-core capabilities or characteristics integrated into a component beyond its primary function. They enhance performance, reliability, or ease of use, such as built-in protection (thermal shutdown, overcurrent), enable/disable

Question 17

What is the Mounting Type

Accepted Answer

Mounting Type refers to the standardized classification of the method by which an electronic component or module is physically secured and electrically connected to a printed circuit board, chassis, or panel. It defines how the component integrates into t

Question 18

What is the -3db Bandwidth

Accepted Answer

It defines the frequency range over which a system's power gain or voltage gain remains within 3 decibels (approximately -29.3% power, -29.3% voltage) of its maximum, typically measured at the center or low-frequency reference point. This parameter is a f
