Question 1

What is the Mfr

Accepted Answer

Mfr refers to the component's producing company, whose brand and manufacturing processes directly impact the component's performance, consistency, and traceability, making it a key reference during selection.

Question 2

What is the Series

Accepted Answer

Series indicates a manufacturer’s organized range of components, often named with a common prefix or code, to streamline product selection and ensure compatibility across similar models.

Question 3

What is the Package

Accepted Answer

his term denotes the protective casing (often made of plastic, ceramic, or metal) that encapsulates an integrated circuit, determining its size, reliability, and suitability for different mounting technologies like through-hole or SMT.

Question 4

What is the Discharge Rate

Accepted Answer

Discharge Rate is the amount of electric charge or energy released by a battery or capacitor per unit time, typically expressed as a rate (C) or current (A).

Question 5

What is the Standard Charge Time

Accepted Answer

Standard Charge Time is the total duration required to charge a depleted battery to its rated capacity under specified conditions.

Question 6

What is the Standard Charge Current

Accepted Answer

Standard Charge Current is the recommended constant current value for charging a battery under specified conditions.

Question 7

What is the Shipping Info

Accepted Answer

This parameter provides logistical and packaging details for a component, including its quantity per standard package (e.g., reel, tube, tray), minimum order quantity (MOQ), and lead time. It is essential for supply chain planning, inventory management, a

Question 8

What is the Product Status

Accepted Answer

Product Status indicates the commercial availability and production stage of the component, such as Active, Not for New Design (NRND), Obsolete, or Last Time Buy (LTB).

Question 9

What is the Voltage - Rated

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the maximum continuous operating potential difference, either AC or DC, that a component, device, or insulating material is designed to withstand without risk of dielectric breakdown, performance degradation, or safety hazard. It

Question 10

What is the Weight

Accepted Answer

A fundamental physical property measured in grams (g) or kilograms (kg), it quantifies the mass of a component. This parameter is critical for structural design, load calculations, and ensuring mechanical integrity in applications where mass impacts perfo

Question 11

What is the Shelf Life

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the maximum duration, typically in months or years, that a component can be stored under defined environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) before its specified performance characteristics may begin to degrade. It is c

Question 12

What is the Termination Style

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the physical form and connection method of a component's leads or contacts, such as through-hole, surface-mount, screw terminal, or quick-connect. It defines the required assembly process (e.g., soldering, clamping) and is critica

Question 13

What is the Battery Cell Size

Accepted Answer

A standardized physical dimension code (e.g., 18650, 21700, AA) that defines the nominal diameter and length of a cylindrical or prismatic rechargeable or primary cell. This code is the primary mechanical identifier, determining the cell's form factor, vo

Question 14

What is the Capacity

Accepted Answer

Capacity refers to the maximum amount of electrical charge a battery or capacitor can store and deliver, measured in ampere-hours (Ah) or farads (F). It defines the total energy reservoir available for powering a circuit or system, directly determining op

Question 15

What is the Battery Chemistry

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the fundamental electrochemical system used within a cell to store and release energy. It defines the active materials for the anode, cathode, and electrolyte, which determine core performance characteristics such as nominal volta

Question 16

What is the Size / Dimension

Accepted Answer

This parameter specifies the physical measurements of a component, typically expressed as length, width, height, and/or diameter in millimeters or inches. It defines the component's spatial footprint, which is critical for mechanical integration, PCB layo
